Crowd of Lord Ganesh devotees for Modak at Ladu Samrat Shop
Maharashtra’s biggest festival Ganeshotsav is going to start from 19th September. The process of bringing the idol of Lord Shri Ganesha to different pandals and houses in the whole state including Mumbai has started. By the way, the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great fanfare throughout the country. Devotees of Lord Ganesha remain immersed in his devotion for 11 days.
Devotees are seen lining up in long queues to get modak and laddu at Laddu Samrat located in Kabutarkhana area of Dadar West area of Mumbai. At the same time, Ashok Dixit, the owner of Ladu Samrat, said that compared to the last two years, this year, Ganesh Chaturthi is more lively in the markets. Ganesh Utsav could not be celebrated with pomp during Corona. But this time people are very enthusiastic about Ganesh Utsav. Because this time the government has removed all restrictions from the festival.
We have also completed the preparations for Ganesh Utsav, different types of modaks have been prepared. Here we have specially made Mawa Modak, Bundi Modak, Kadak Bundi Modak, Besan Ladoo, Kandi Ke Modak and Milk Cake Dry Fruit Modak.
